Toxic Gas Sensors

A toxic gas is any gas that, when inhaled, will produce some adverse effect on the person or animal. Toxic gases in large concentrations can produce unconsciousness or death by displacing the oxygen in breathable air. Many toxic gases, even in very low concentrations breathed over a long time period can cause cancer or otherwise permanently damage the lungs. Toxic gas sensors insure that no personnel are injured or killed by toxic leak accidents. Use these sensors to check for H2S, SO2, CO, CO2, CL2, NO2, and other toxic gasses.

GT811 Toxic Gas NOVA-Sensor®

GT811 Toxic Gas NOVA-Sensor® uses the traditional electrochemical fuel cell for measuring gas concentration. The NOVA-Sensor continuously displays the gas concentration in large, easy to read characters. A standard 4-20 milliamp circuit transmits the gas reading to other control equipment. Three sets of voltage free contacts provided for local alarms, ventilation or shutdown of equipment.

GT810 Toxic Gas Sensor

GT810 Toxic Gas Sensor. Save money by installing this model in locations where the gas concentration display and relay contacts are not required. Uses the same electrochemical cell sensor as our NOVA-Sensor for reliable and accurate measurements. A standard 4-20 milliamp circuit transmits the gas reading to other control equipment.

GIR911 Infrared Carbon Dioxide Gas NOVA-Sensor®

GIR911 Infrared Carbon Dioxide Gas NOVA-Sensor®. CO2 concentration is difficult to measure; electrochemical cells cannot be used. The SST Infrared CO2 NOVA-Sensor successfully measures this gas with accuracy and stability. The NOVA-Sensor continuously displays the gas concentration in large, easy to read characters. A standard 4-20 milliamp circuit transmits the gas reading to other control equipment. Three sets of voltage free contacts provided for local alarms, ventilation or shutdown of equipment.

GIR910 Infrared Carbon Dioxide Gas Sensor

GIR910 Infrared Carbon Dioxide Gas Sensor. Save money by installing this model in locations where the gas concentration display and relay contacts are not required. Uses the same IR sensor cell as our NOVA-Sensor for reliable and accurate measurements. A standard 4-20 milliamp circuit transmits the gas reading to other control equipment.

Installation and Calibration Accessories

Installation and Calibration Accessories include junction boxes for mounting sensors on walls, ceilings or air ducts. Also accessories to protect sensors from water or dust, and test gas for verifying sensor performance.
